Calling all Hudson Valley foodies! Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is coming back this fall, with exciting updates that are too delicious not to share right now.

For those who are familiar with the event, Hudson Valley Restaurant Week (HVRW) is a bi-annual event that takes place every spring and fall for two weeks. During those times, food lovers in and around the Valley get the chance to dine at some of the top restaurants in the region, where they can sample inventive menus and favorite dishes for a special prix fixe price.

This fall, however, things get even more scrumptious. That’s because Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is launching a special pricing program to allow more diners and restaurants to participate.

So, how does it work?

Participating restaurants can choose between four price points: $24.95 or $39.95 at lunch and $29.95 or $44.95 at dinner. Prix fixe menus may also be offered for both dine-in and takeout.

“Since 2006, Hudson Valley Restaurant Week has always highlighted the bounty of culinary greatness that our region has to offer. We know restaurants have had a difficult time during the past two years and we are offering new tiered pricing options to open up this annual event to even more restaurants,” notes Mike Martinelli, Today Media’s Hudson Valley Group Publisher. “Increasing the number of participating restaurants is good for both the restaurants and their customers.”

With restaurant registration for the November 7-20 iteration of HVRW taking place now, excitement is building to see which restaurants will be participating, not to mention which dishes they’ll be offering, this fall. Participating sponsors to date include Dutchess County Tourism, Putnam County Tourism, Rockland County Tourism, Westchester County Tourism, Resorts World Catskills, Manhattan Beer, Pamal Broadcasting, WHUD-FM, WSPK-FM, The Journal News, Poughkeepsie Journal, and Open Table.
